If you are a fan of nature and hikes, this day trip from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley is going to be right up you alley!
Our trip begins by driving through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, until we get to the lovely Ourika Valley. The valley is also home to multiple waterfalls providing a nice and cooling mist to the area. This makes the valley a perfect escape plan from Marrakech’s summer heat. In order to reach all of Ourika’s waterfalls, a hike is going to be necessary, so make sure you wear appropriate shoes for the day!
As part of the excursion, you are going to learn more about the simple lifestyle of locals living at the heart of the Atlas Mountains, away from the modernity found at big cities. Finally, if time permits, we might also visit one of the weekly markets held at one of the neighboring villages.
