DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
In the first day of your 6 day Morocco tour from Tangier. We pick you up from your accommodation, the airport or the port in Tangier. Also known as “the bride of the north”. the city is located northwest where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. Firstly, we will explore the beautiful city, the cave of Hercules and also the Cape spartel. Free time for lunch. Then we drive inland to Chefchaouen by passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Stops will be made for panoramic views. Overnight stay in a hotel in Chefchaouen.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN- THE ROMAN RUINS OF VOLUBILIS-MEKNES – FES
After breakfast, feel free to wander in the beautiful alleyways of the blue city Chefchaouen. Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with beautiful ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes the Ismaili capital. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Sonani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and finally the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fes. Overnight stay in a Riad
DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR SIGHTSEEING FES
We pick you from your accommodation in Fes after breakfast, to explore the city of Fes. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco. We start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then the well preserved medieval Medina, that is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. The Blue gate or Bab Boujloud is the entrance of the old Medina. You will enter the Medina with a local guide. To visit The Medrasa Bonanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries and finally the Quaraouin mosque and university – The oldest university in the world. After that we leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”. Then we drive to an ancient fortress, for panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes. Then return to your Riad.
DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT
This next morning, after breakfast we will be leaving Fes and heading to the Middle Atlas, to get to Merzouga On our way there, we will visit the town of Ifrane, also called the Switzerland of Morocco, before continuing to the forests of Azrou, where we will see wild macaque monkeys. We will then reach Midelt city, considered the heart of the Middle Atlas, and to Rich village where we will have tipic local lunch before continuing our journey. The journey will take us through the beautiful Ziz valley, in which we have to stop to appreciate the view and we will drive a Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi desert. This is where we will enjoy the magnificent desert. The camel ride will take us to the hidden desert camp where we will have tasty traditional dishes for dinner. You will experience the genuine desert culture with Berber music and drums playing around you, before finally going to sleep in nomad-style tents
DAY 5: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY
This morning, to catch the breathtaking sunrise over the desert dunes and to breakfast ! After this, we will ride the camels back to Merzouga Then, we will leave towards to (souk Rissani melaab village tinjdad)and to the famous Todra gorges, which is a hiking spot that attracts enthusiasts from all over the world. we will drive to the valley of Dades and explore the area called “the road of the thousand Kasbahs” before heading to the Riad where we will spend the night dar essyaha lodge .
DAY 6: VALLEY OF THE ROSES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
Next morning after breakfast we will drive through the road of the thousand Kasbahs once more, leading to Kalaat Mgouna vally, also known as the capital of roses, and the city of Ouarzazate kasbah taourirt and studio atlas of cenema . and we will explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This Kasbah holds great value in filmmaking history, since it is backdrop where many historical movies were made, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Kingdom of Heaven. The Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah is also a UNESCO world heritage site. and explor ounila valley, and we will drive through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains 2260 mt and different village to reach Marrakech city …
